Mark “Kaz” Kasprzyk is a Canadian-born recording artist, producer, and songwriter best known as the force behind modern rock act Redlight King. Raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Kaz’s blue-collar upbringing and early success as a nationally ranked judo competitor helped shape his relentless work ethic and gritty artistic voice.

After earning a 2004 Juno Award nomination with his rap-rock project Kazzer, he evolved his sound into Redlight King, blending hip-hop influences with hard rock. The band broke internationally with “Old Man,” followed by chart-topping hits like “Bullet In My Hand,” earning multiple Billboard Top 10 placements.

Now based in Los Angeles, Kaz continues to write and produce music that fuses raw energy with emotional depth. His latest release, In Our Blood, showcases a heavier, more personal direction—driven by themes of resilience, truth, and hope.
